Rules of the game
How is SuperEnalotto played?
SuperEnalotto is Italy's best-known number lottery (operator: Sisal), drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 20:00 (Rome). 6 numbers are drawn from 90, then the Jolly from the remaining balls, which only counts for the 5 + 1 tier. One combination costs €1, the SuperStar option €0.50 extra. Prize tiers: 6, 5 + 1, 5, 4, 3 and 2 matches. With odds of 1 in 622,614,630 for the jackpot, SuperEnalotto has one of the lowest jackpot chances in Europe, which is why its jackpots often reach record levels. You must be 18 to play. Data: superenalotto.it (archive since 2009) and the open archive la-scimmia-vince (since 1997). No guarantee.
How does the Jolly work?
The Jolly is drawn after the winning numbers from the remaining balls; it counts if it is among your own numbers.
