Rules of the game

How is Lotto Belgique played?

Lotto is the number lottery of the Belgian National Lottery (Loterie Nationale / Nationale Loterij), drawn every Wednesday and Saturday at 20:00 (Brussels). You play 6 numbers from 45 (until September 2011: 6 from 42); a bonus number is then drawn from the remaining balls. There are nine prize tiers, from 6 matches down to 1 match + bonus (since May 2018). One grid costs €1.50. Statistics start with the 45-ball format on 1 October 2011. Data: Belgian National Lottery (Loterie Nationale / Nationale Loterij, official results) since 1992. No guarantee.

How does the Bonus number work?

The Bonus number is drawn after the winning numbers from the remaining balls; it counts if it is among your own numbers.
