Strategies tested: frequent combinations, guaranteed systems, avoiding the last draw

1Frequent combinations versus Quick Pick lines – three case studies

One line played in each of the 209 draws from 18.10.2025 to 17.10.2026. Stake per line: £1.00 (£1.00 per draw).

What the figures show: with hindsight, any line you pick looks good. As soon as the choice is made before the draws, the advantage disappears – results vary just as they do for any Quick Pick line and the balance stays negative on average (about half of the stakes is paid back).

3Avoiding the numbers of the last draw

A popular filter: play none of the numbers from the last draw. Without the 5 numbers from 17.10.2026, 278,256 combinations remain out of 575,757 – 48.3%.

In reality, the next draw shared at least one number with the previous one in 51.9% of cases (expected: 51.7%, 3028 pairs of draws).

A complete winning combination has been repeated 8 times in the database (3029 draws).

The filter does not change the odds: every remaining combination is exactly as likely as every excluded one. That no line has ever repeated is normal with 575,757 possibilities – for any given line, even the last one drawn, the chance is identical at every draw.
