Rules of the game
How is Lotto 6 aus 45 played?
Lotto 6 aus 45 is the number lottery of Austrian Lotteries (Österreichische Lotterien), drawn every Wednesday (18:47) and Sunday (19:17) live on ORF 2, occasionally with extra bonus draws on Fridays. You play 6 numbers from 45; a bonus number is then drawn from the remaining balls. Since 8 September 2010 there are eight prize tiers, from 6 matches down to “bonus number only”. One line costs €1.50 (since 17 July 2024); the jackpot is at least €1.2 million. Data: win2day.at (Austrian Lotteries), official result lists since 1986. No guarantee.
How does the Bonus number work?
The Bonus number is drawn after the winning numbers from the remaining balls; it counts if it is among your own numbers.
