Strategies tested: frequent combinations, guaranteed systems, avoiding the last draw

1Frequent combinations versus Quick Pick lines – three case studies

One line played in each of the 105 draws from 15.10.2025 to 14.10.2026. Stake per line: €1.20 (€1.20 per draw).

What the figures show: with hindsight, any line you pick looks good. As soon as the choice is made before the draws, the advantage disappears – results vary just as they do for any Quick Pick line and the balance stays negative on average (about half of the stakes is paid back).

2Guaranteed-win system (covering design)

A covering design from combinatorics: 340 lines chosen so that in EVERY draw at least one line has 3 matches. Principle: the numbers are split into 2 groups (25 + 24); by the pigeonhole principle, at least 3 drawn numbers fall in the same group, and in each group the system covers all combinations of 3.

Checked against the 1404 draws in the database: the guarantee has always held.

Balance if the system had been played in the 105 draws since 15.10.2025

All lines of the system (green: guarantee reached in the latest draw)

Latest draw 14.10.2026: 2 lines with at least 3 matches.

The guarantee is real – but expensive: it secures a small prize for €408 per draw. Over a year, €11,756 in winnings against €42,840 in stakes. Better-optimised systems need fewer lines, but the sum stays negative because every line has the same negative expected value.

3Avoiding the numbers of the last draw

A popular filter: play none of the numbers from the last draw. Without the 6 numbers from 14.10.2026, 6,096,454 combinations remain out of 13,983,816 – 43.6%.

In reality, the next draw shared at least one number with the previous one in 56.1% of cases (expected: 56.4%, 1403 pairs of draws).

A complete winning combination has been never repeated in the database (1404 draws).

The filter does not change the odds: every remaining combination is exactly as likely as every excluded one. That no line has ever repeated is normal with 13,983,816 possibilities – for any given line, even the last one drawn, the chance is identical at every draw.
